We have considered using Universal studios to distribute, exhibit and produce our film because they have released many similar films to the one we plan to make. Some examples of this are: Psycho; Jaws; The Thing. These films will share a similar tone and visuals to the film opening we will create which is why Universal is an ideal institution to exhibit our film.
Also they have made a huge success out of all of these films because all of these went on to make a profit for the studio and went on to be considered the classics of their genre and cinema in general.

Institutional Research: Legendary Pictures

                          

Legendary pictures is also a choice we have considered using the distribute, exhibit and produce our film because they closely with Universal and Warner Bros. and are often used by these companies to distribute their thriller and horror movies. Some examples are: The Hunger Games franchise; Jurassic World; Godzilla. They are very successful at working on film franchises as evidenced by their work on the Dark Knight franchise, the Godzilla franchise, the Superman franchise, the DCEU (DC Expanded Universe) and Warcraft.

Institutional Research: Eon Productions

We have also considered using eon productions to distribute, exhibit and produce our film because they have a successful track record with thriller movies. They are also the main producers for the James Bond franchise which is as of January 2016 the 4th highest grossing film franchise of all time and the highest grossing action thriller franchise of all time. Also they have had recent success with the latest James Bond films with Skyfall (the 23rd James Bond film) grossing over 1.109 billion dollars USD at the box office.
